Invisible Crown

A crown

This post is a old gem, a timeless piece that I will never not love. I wrote this two years ago. I was in college, I had just found out my first love cheated on me and my world shattered. This post was the beginning of me picking myself up, dusting off the shame, my insecurities, my sorrow and I snatched back my confidence and self love. This post has gotten a lot of feedback, a lot of thank you’s and a lot of appreciation, comment below what you think!

Invisible Crown

I am going to be honest, prior to about two weeks ago, I wore an invisible crown on my head. It got knocked off, and here I am trying to pick up the pieces, not only did it get knocked off, it shattered. Now I am gluing the pieces together as we speak. And I want to encourage everyone else who might have gotten their crown knocked off. I want to encourage you to pick it back up or glue it back together and put it back on.

Chin up princess or the crown slips

To the people who don’t know what I mean when I say ‘walk around with an invisible crown’. Walk around with confidence, walk around with a positive, persistent driven energy, walk the way that you talk. You talk that talk, you boost yourself up with your words? Do this with the way you carry yourself. If you were to envision yourself wearing a crown on your head (crown representing power, purpose) through your day to day it will definetly change the way you interact with people. It will change what energies, actions and what type of respect or lack of respect you surround yourself with. it will change your posture, your demeanor. Walking around with this type of consistent confidence is powerful, it is an energy people will be able to feel, be drawn too, be intimidated by.

Imagine

After reading this no matter how silly it may sound close your eyes, envision a crown in front of you. It can be golden, silver, covered in jewels or simple whatever you want.  Now eyes still closed put the crown on your head, literally put the crown you imagined on your head. Straighten up, shoulders back, chin up, and go about your day oozing confidence and power.

Great info. I’ve always went by having a quiet confidence. Believing in yourself, trust what you’re doing without coming off as arrogant ♥️
